This is a lovely portable project that creates a beautiful pin cushion either for your personal use or as a present for a sewing friend.
The embroidery stitches used are straightforward and you have a how to sheet in the pattern. There is a full size pattern sheet, and of course the colours are up to you but the photos give you a good starting point.
A cotton/linen mix has been used as the base for the embroidery, and the really fun bit is that you even make the button using cloth and embroidery.
