Felt Egg Hunt Bag

This is a quick fun make for half term. Each child can bring a grown up of their choice to make a lovely felt bag ready to collect lots of eggs in!

Your choice of pattern, choose egg, chick or bunny.

Bring along your usual sewing kit - needles, sharp small scissors, cotton thread and your own fabric or we have felt available to purchase separately.

Beginners Machine Applique

This is for anyone wanting to give “stick and stitch” machine appliqué a go. The finished project could be a table centre, a cushion or a wall hanging.

Sewing machine needed together with your usual sewing kit, needles, sharp scissors and cream thread.

£50 (kits available to purchase separately).

Book Cover

Come along and celebrate world book day with us. We will be creating fabric book covers in two different designs. This is a good way to practice your applique and piecing skills on a small project. It can be made up and given as a present or kept for your favourite book. The cover fits an A5 size notepad or book.

Sewing machine required. Rotary cutting set and usual sewing kit with cream/grey thread.

Bring your own fabric or we have kits available to purchase separately.

3rd Wednesday of each month, March - October 10-13:00 
Village Sampler

Perfect for an improved beginner, this stunning quilt will show you different patchwork techniques. You will learn how to place colour, create log cabin and star blocks and create the beautiful applique centre. You will then move on to assembly, borders and quilting the sampler.

Sewing machine required. Bring your own fabric - get in touch for requirements list.

£35 per session payable one session in advance.

Class Booking

Class Cancellations 

Here are the boring bits, if we need to cancel a class we will issue you with a full refund, or you may transfer your fee to an alternative class. If you cancel a stand alone class we will refund on the following basis:

• Over 21 days prior to the class a 75% refund
• 14 – 21 days prior to the class a 50% refund
• if less than 14 days prior to the class we regret that there will be no refund.
