Beginners Table Runner Course
A complete introduction to all things patchwork! Throughout the course, Yvonne will walk you through everything from choosing and cutting your fabrics to piecing, quilting and binding, as you work towards creating your own beautiful table runner.
Whether you're completely new to patchwork or would simply like to build your confidence, this is a lovely way to learn the basics and leave with a new skill - and something you've made yourself!
Come along and join our welcoming group of beginners. You'll have plenty of support and guidance throughout the course, with time to ask questions and work at your own pace. Tea and coffee are included, of course!
You will learn:
- How to choose and prepare your fabrics
- Accurate cutting and piecing
- Basic quilting techniques
- How to bind your finished quilt
- Tips and techniques to help you continue your patchwork journey
Sewing machine required.

Booking Information:
🧵Class fees are payable when booking, as this confirms your place in the class.
🧵Please come a bit earlier to settle yourself in and meet your classmates.
🧵Free parking is available outside.
🧵All of our classes take place at our studio, every student has their own workstation.
🧵Tea and coffee are available all day and please bring your own cup!
Cancellation Information:
Here are the boring bits, if we need to cancel a class we will issue you with a full refund, or you may transfer your fee to an alternative class. If you cancel a stand alone class we will refund on the following basis:
- Over 21 days prior to the class a 75% refund
- 14 – 21 days prior to the class a 50% refund
- if less than 14 days prior to the class we regret that there will be no refund.
